a skincare company's first product is pretty major, right? “why a primer?” I’m sure you’re wondering. or, why another primer? fair question.

it’s 2021-- most of you, if not all of you, have worn makeup at some point... even if you don’t want to admit it. we watch these tiktok beauty guru’s paint masterpieces on their faces; we see elaborate costume & holiday makeup trends; we wear a tiny bit of concealer to give a little extra confidence before a job interview, first date, or night out. simply put, makeup is awesome. it’s not something anyone should be nervous or embarrassed about using. we fully back that and wanted to come up with a product to help.

our vitamin c primer is meant to give you a glistening, color correcting shine with an instant face-lift type feel (which is nice even as a stand-alone without makeup). this preps the skin for all day makeup wear. It’s also a powerhouse of carefully chosen antioxidants & vitamins (see product page for more details) to repair uv damage & protect you from free radicals while you’re out there doing your thing. you look & feel good with that makeup on, return that favor to your skin!

What's This [pH]ix?

Vitamin C; not all Vitamin C derivatives (6, to be exact) are created equal. I went with a form that has strong complexion-boosting traits + high enough ph as to not disrupt sensitive skin. it’s also more stable than the other derivatives and won’t lose potency with exposure to sun, air, etc. we still recommend keeping the bottle closed & in a cool place.
Vitamin b3, b5 & b6; these attract hydration to the skin and hold it there; help repair uv- damaged skin & reduce the use of skin cancer; take on hormonal acne and redness
Vitamin e; another powerful antioxidant effective at reducing uv damage & protect the skin against free radicals
Hyaluronic acid; helps the skin maintain moisture and helps the tissue regeneration process involved in healing wounds. ha can hold 1000 times its weight in water, plumping and moisturizing the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles.
